Responsibilities
• Perform data analysis against large and varying data sets related to the areas within Supply Chain.
• Translate current business challenges into analytical terms and use appropriate data analysis techniques to solve problems in the areas of customer fulfillment, procurement, and quality.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to uncover critical information.
• Clearly communicate and interpret data trends to Executive Level Management.
• Translate data into profit opportunities using analytics to resolve an array of business problems within the Supply Chain.
• Cross collaborate globally with area subject matter experts to improve business processes.

Qualifications
•  Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in the area of Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or a similar area
•  Minimum GPA Requirement: 3.0 or higher

 Data Analyst for Enterprise Integration
Job Type: Internship
Location: Detroit, MI
Responsibilities
Projects support maximizing profit through data-driven decisions aligned with customer priorities. Specific focus areas include customer interactions, contacts & behaviors with all GM products. This activity employs a strong team with experience in data discovery, data integration, data quality and governance.

Qualifications
• Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in a system analysis field including: Information Technology, Engineering, Management Science, Mathematics, and Decision Science or equivalent experience.
• Skilled in Big Data, data management & integration tools, Excel and Microsoft office products
• You have a collaborative teammate orientation towards work relationships, strong culture awareness
BASIC PREFERRED
• Research or experience in data analysis where problems are poorly defined, complex and cross functional and possess uncertainties, multiple objectives and decisions with broad trade-offs.
• Excellent teammate and communicator with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with project teams, management, customers and subject matter experts.

Data Analyst
Job Type: Full-time
Location:   New York, NY
Responsibilities
• Address incoming support cases by leveraging hands-on mitigation workflows and ad-hoc analysis
• Maintain proper written and verbal communication threads and protocols with relevant internal and external stakeholders
• During daily work, you identify and recommend improvements to policies, processes, systems, and products that enable efficient anti-abuse mitigation for the company

Qualifications
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in technology or analytical discipline
• Experience in working with SQL for querying large datasets
• You have a deep understanding of numbers, as well as a strong business sense to understand impact to the company
• You are capable to meet tight deadlines and will be focused on execution
• Previous exposure to using and generating data visualization dashboards (Tableau)
• You are structured and pay close attention to details
• You are clear in communication and adept at presenting and explaining complex topics and recommendations in simple terms
Nice to have :
• Experience in deriving a set of relevant signals from a large set of data, summarizing it and drawing conclusions from it that can facilitate automation and prevention

Responsibilities
• Perform weekly analysis of customer feedback concerning all of Uline’s departments.
• Assist Executive Operations management with monthly reports that go directly to Uline’s President.
• Create competitor analysis covering topics such as websites, catalogs, operations, etc.
• Perform audits of departments including Purchasing, IT, Quotes, Sales, Accounting, etc.
• Work with Merchandising and Creative departments to minimize returns.

Qualifications
• Experience with Microsoft Excel. Experience with Microsoft Access and SQL a plus.
