Data Analytics Intern
Job Type: Internship

Responsibilities
• Evaluate TPA business practices including policy touches, response time, and customer experience and develop data-driven reporting to improve TPA performance
• Identify repetitive, time-consuming, or high-risk manual processes and assist in the automation of these processes
• Build predictive models to enhance Global Atlantic’s ability to determine effective methods of increasing revenue, lowering expenses, reducing risk, and improving the health of the agent or customer relationship
• Create, maintain, and refresh Tableau reports
• Develop ad hoc and on-going reporting based on business requirements using Tableau, SAS, SQL, and Sybase

Qualifications
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or Analytics with interest in data analysis, data management, and reporting
• Working knowledge of one or more programming languages required
• Statistics required
• Must be detail oriented and possess strong organization and time management skills to meet strict deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
• Positive attitude even when faced with difficult obstacles, issues or challenges
• Strong work ethic, high level of personal integrity, and accountability
• Strong communication skills and an ability to work independently
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft software, specifically Excel data manipulation (pivot tables and charting tools) desired
• Basic knowledge of database, table and dataset design is desired
• Linear and times series regression a plus
• Tableau, SQL, or SAS is a plus

2020 Market Data Analyst Summer Internship – Princeton
Job Type: Internship

Qualifications

2020 Summer Intern – Forensic & Litigation Consulting – Data & Analytics
Job Type: Internship

Responsibilities
• Responsible for day-to-day activities of a project including interaction with other team members, professionals from other firms involved in the engagement, and client personnel; 
• Identify, research, and organize information to assess the appropriateness and sufficiency of available data to facilitate effective data access and analysis;
• Identify the relationships among multiple sources and types of information to facilitate effective data analysis;
• Analyze and interpret historical financial, operational, and transactional data;
• Assist with preparation of reports, written analyses, trial and other presentations, quantitative exhibits, and other client deliverables regarding project scope and/or results of work performed;
• Maintain detailed working records reflecting assumptions, methodologies, and information sources employed during the performance of all analytical tasks;
• Participate in client meetings to review results of work performed; and
• Maintain professional image within the company and project the same to those outside of the company.

Qualifications
• Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, engineering, or information systems

Responsibilities
• Performs administrative tasks which may be specific to a particular functional area of activity such as preparing reports, answering the phone, receiving messages, transmitting information, making copies, editing documents, handling routine inquires and making appointments.
• May support multiple marketing functions for a defined product or service line. Perform activities including but not limited to coordinating program development, tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions.
• Participates in meetings and interfaces with various teams.
• Assists management in analyzing various data.
• Works on special projects and provides research as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time
Location: New York, NY
Responsibilities
• Oversee media reconciliation and discrepancy reporting.Implement proper procedures to meet the financial process needs of client while maintaining internal controls.
• Review of all media purchases, tracking discrepancies.
• Review and analysis of accounts payable.
• Presentation of reports to internal teams and clients.
• Monitor client budgets and provide financial information to various departments.
• Provide client financial analysis in the review of monthly results.
• Forecast and month-end revenue recognition.
• Serve as a primary financial contact for the account team on assigned client business.
• Participate in client financial meetings.
• Forecast revenue and phasing.
• Assess revenue potential and probability of conversion.
• Report monthly revenue by client and ensure that revenue is recognized in compliance with proper accounting procedures.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree. Major in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of related experience.
• A working proficiency in Mediaocean and DDS
• Prior media agency experience is required.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.

Responsibilities
• Develop financial models and provide insights and analysis on the ROI of key investments and resourcing decisions
• Apply finance, accounting and analytic principles to assist in core budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities
• Presentation of insights and recommendations to decision makers and executives
• Assist in the execution or monitoring of month- and quarter-end financial close
• Provide technology or reporting solutions (SAP, EDW, Tableau, etc.)
• Grow the team’s technical subject matter expertise with summer project(s)

Qualifications
• Completion of at least 2 years of undergraduate studies before start of internship
• Desired Major(s): Finance, Accounting, Business, Math, Economics or related field
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SQL is a plus
• Deep desire to learn and acquire new skills
• Highly self-motivated, curious, and comfortable with ambiguous challenges, takes initiative to tackle challenges
• Ability to communicate effectively (written, oral) with the team, collaborative work style
