Customer Engagement Search Marketing Intern
Think about the last time you searched on Google or Bing for information. Have you ever thought about who creates the Pay Per Click (PPC) advertisements youâre seeing in the search results? As a Search Marketing Professional Intern for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, you will have the opportunity to learn the basics of how search engine optimization, paid search, and other auction-based media campaigns are executed and tracked across multiple lines of business. You will become well-versed in advertising platforms such as Google Ads and YouTube Ads. You will assist in strategy development, as well as campaign execution, optimization, reporting and analysis. You will participate in testing new features and performing statistical analysis of digital marketing campaigns with the intent of uncovering stories within the data. You will also assist in researching new channels and tactics and developing the processes for the team to be able execute with excellence. Responsibilities : Become Google Ads certified during the course of your internshipLearn how to launch campaigns on each channel managed by the team and assist the team with launching and QAâing campaignsPull daily spend reports and assist the team with the budget pacing of their campaignsCreate, categorize and refine keyword lists to create a comprehensive campaign that drives qualified users to our websiteAnalyze and assess the performance of campaigns and translate the data into recommendations for revising campaign strategyDetermine an area of opportunity within our team and champion a long-term project to create a new tool, procedure, resource, etc. to aid the teamPrepare agendas, scheduling and meeting minutes for team meetings Basic Qualifications : Showcase your skills…1-2 yearsâ experience in marketing, analytical or technological fieldsYouâre analytical with a high desire to learn digital marketingAbility to work on multiple projects at once and prioritize timeComfortable working with cross-functional teams and team members at all levelsStrong attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPointProven knowledge of The Walt Disney Company and its products, including Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line and Disneyland products and servicesData and statistical analysis coursework, or experience, with the ability to extract interesting data points to help tell a storyDemonstrated marketing, social media, and/or paid media experience, as well as interpreting data and campaign/program results to inform future strategic decisions Preferred Qualifications: Experience with statistical analysisKnowledge of SAS, SQL, R, and/or TableauExperience with paid search advertising and/or natural search Required Education : What youâve studied⦠Marketing, Digital Media, Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics or other relevant area of study.
