Financial Analyst Intern
Job Type: Internship
Location:  West Greenwich, RI
Responsibilities
• Facilitate cost estimation, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare, analyze and consolidate project budgets and forecasts.
• Serve as Finance Lead on system projects, service deliveries and costing process.
• Identify areas where cost improvements can be realized and assist in the implementation of programs to affect cost improvements. Assist with the development of systems and procedures that stress cost containment.
• Assist with ongoing improvements to finance related processes and policies and ensure consistency of application.
• Facilitate periodic and post mortem financial reviews of system and service deliveries.
• Educate team members and management at all levels on system and service deliveries financial measurements and analysis.
• Assist in the development and improvement of systems and tools.
• Educate team members and project managers on proper use of systems, tools and business processes.
• Perpetuate standards on the use of system and tools.
• Maintain good communication with team members and project managers.

Qualifications
• Microsoft Product skills, especially Excel (advanced level), PowerPoint, and Word.
• Research and analytical analysis skills.
• Experience with enterprise business systems and financial reporting software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Highly organized with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Currently enrolled undergrad or graduate studies, at least 2 years plan being an intern, and a minimum 3.0 GPA

Financial Analyst
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Tacoma, WA
Responsibilities
• Work on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of management reporting, delivering sustainable financial tools to keep the company on course
• Ability to take an ambiguous concept/task and complete in an effective way with minimal direction and improve processes, enhance usability of templates, and automate recurring analyses
• Produce regular, recurring reports, ensuring accuracy, validity, and clean presentation. Provide insight into past performance and future trends and distill learnings and KPI’s into actionable information
• Develop modeling, forecasting, and other analytical tools to improve planning and decision-making approaches across the organization
• Prepare and distribute management report packages including variances, trends, benchmarks, and goals
• Provide ad-hoc analysis to resolve issues and support business decisions 
• Use technology solutions and tools to create systems & dashboards that enable teams to have appropriate visibility to financial data
• Provide fact-based insights into variances and trends
• Manage and develop financial reports that align, and simplify monthly business reviews, annual planning, and forecasting processes

Qualifications
• Strong technical knowledge of financial analysis products including Excel (expert level) & SQL (strong working knowledge).
• Strong analytical skills 
• Active listening & strong ability to gather requirements
• Ability to work well with and be helpful to others at all levels
• Ability to work in an environment with shifting priorities
• Proven experience in analysis, modeling, and reporting financial performance
• Bachelor degree in finance or accounting 
• 3+ years’ experience working in financial analysis, preferably with experience working with financial services or insurance
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills; effective in creating strong business partnerships with operations
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Limited travel requirement, if any, for branch visits, training, and conferences

Intern – Financial Analyst
Job Type: Internship
Location:  Bridgewater, NJ
Responsibilities
The candidate will be a key member of financial planning and analysis team supporting product line management. Responsibilities include financial reporting, budget to actual variance analysis, utilizing tools to analyze, query and manipulate data according to defined business rules and procedures. Responsible for tracking project information, following up on issue status, resolving routine issues and reporting status to management. Handle journal entry processing, billing research, ERP/CRM System maintenance, including creation of opportunities and projects and assist the procurement department in vendor tracking. Other related tasks will be performed as assigned. 

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or currently enrolled at University in Finance or Accounting, 
• Ability to work 15 – 20 hours per week 
• Accounting and business finance experience, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and auditing 
• Strong organizational skills, capacity to quickly identify problems and structure solutions, and to plan and prioritize multiple projects, while maintaining high quality and meeting or exceeding deadlines. 
• Strong commercial sense, with the ability to link operational performance to financial results. This includes generating alternatives that drive positive change. 
• Highly effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. 
• Strong ability to articulate complicated financial information across levels, functions and geographic regions and cultures. 
• Proven ability to work across organizations, influencing change and delivering results. 
• Strong Excel skills including multi-level charting, scenario development, pivot tables, lookups and macros and knowledge of PowerPoint.

Accounting Internship
Job Type: Internship
Location: New York, NY
Responsibilities
• Completes bank and/or account reconciliations.
• Performs filing as needed of various financial documents.
• Prepares journal entries, account updates, and maintenance in accounting system.
• Collates and copy financial data as requested.
• Generates financial reports in SBT, Tramms, Quickbooks or other accounting systems.
• Creates and prepares various financial support schedules.
• Reviews invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Records documents by vendor account.
• Processes invoices for payment via check, ACH, wires.
• Completes daily cash reconciliations to report cash inflows and outflows.
• Maintains master database for Vendors and customers.
• Work with senior staff accountants on various ad-hoc projects

Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or Taxation
• Familiar with the financial sector, services and solutions
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, Quickbooks etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Ability to quickly absorb new technical concepts and tools
