Data Science Intern

Job Type: Internship Location: SAN FRANCISCO, CA

Responsibilities • Apply modern ML techniques to improve business processes • Be empowered to take initiative and follow your innate curiosity • Develop your applied machine learning and software engineering skills • Work as both a data scientist and software engineer: we don’t just build prototypes or create Jupyter notebooks, but also implement and maintain our algorithms in production  Qualifications • You are a student currently enrolled in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, electrical engineering, mathematics, etc. • You are familiar with your machine learning toolkit and are able to identify and reason about algorithms for a variety of ML problems • You are driven by a desire to make a tangible business impact • You have affinity with software engineering, are familiar with Python, and can demonstrate an ability to quickly get up to speed working with new technologies

Data Intern

Job Type: Internship Location: Herndon, VA

Responsibilities • Support a variety of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data preparation for analysis and consumption • Understand data needs and with minimal inputs and be able to construct data pipelines for automating data preparation and data wrangling tasks • Aggregate and analyze various data sets based on inputs and provide datasets as per requireemnts • Troubleshoot and coordinate defect resolution related to data processing & preparation • Conduct necessary research and analysis to solve problems or to complete a task Qualifications • Strong analytical and communications skills • Programming experience using Python and SQL • Must be a quick learner and adept at debugging large code base • Ability to work both independently, and in a team, to contribute to overall project delivery goals • Experience in Linux scripting is essential • Experience in working with BI tools such as Microstrategy, , Tableau is advantageous • Experience with C++, SQL, AngularJS, or other languages is advantageous • Experience creating prototypes and demonstrating them in order to help validate design ideas • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline • GPA 3.4 or above • Ability to secure Public trust clearance

Logistics Data Analyst

Job Type: Full-time Location:  GREEN BAY, WI

Responsibilities • work closely with members of Support, Operations, Purchasing and Business Development teams to evaluate trends though the design and development of reports and the analysis and interpretation of data using, SQL, Excel and Microsoft BI. This includes the development of database tools, data analysis to evaluate the service and cost of  Logistics, and provision of data support for various programs and ad hoc reports. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree OR associates degree with 2+ years of professional experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel including writing complex formulas, pivot tables, vlookups, etc. • Experience using math and analytical skills in a professional environment  • Experience in writing SQL queries • Experience with the use of Business Intelligence Tool(s), preferably Microsoft Power BI • 1+ years of analytical or logistics experience
