Marketing Internship |

Human Resources Associate |
Location: Chicago, IL Location: Seattle, WA |
Responsibilities • Provide a seamless transition from candidate status to employee status by administering recruiting, offer and onboarding processes. • Coordinate, schedule, and conduct small group presentations such as onboarding and benefits onboarding sessions. • Research and respond to employee questions via phone, email, and in-person relating to pay, benefits, guidelines, policies, and compliance with timeliness, grace and kindness • Deliver on team’s service level agreement with proactive and timely customer follow up. Keep employees informed of progress or resolution of their inquiry within a 24-hour turnaround. • Act as administrative owner for key HR processes and programs and maintain a standard process with great attention to detail. • Educate and assist employees with HR processes and tools • Champion Allen Institute Code of Conduct externally and internally to enhance awareness of our mission to candidates and employees • Communicate organizational culture, policies and procedures, tools and resources • Be a strong partner with the overall Human Resources team, ensuring hand offs and processes are seamlessly executed and continuously improved • Accurate data entry into multiple HR systems. • Miscellaneous support duties, as assigned Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of degree and experience • Basic knowledge of human resources laws and processes • Solid understanding of HRIS, ATS, LMS and other HR systems. • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint Outlook and SharePoint, along with a technical aptitude to learn new tools • Small group presentation experience • High degree of personal organization and attention to detail • Customer-focused and responsive • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to coordinate many tasks simultaneously • Ability to work independently and collaboratively |
