Market Analyst Intern
Job Type: Internship
Location:  Corning, NY
Responsibilities
• Identifying sources of credible information including data vendors and consulting companies
• Searching industry reports, company financial reports and announcements.
• Mining reports, analyzing and synthesizing data and sharing findings with project leadership team and other cross functional project team members
• Conducting in-depth data analyses to understand market size, trends, and segmentation using traditional and advanced methods
• Making presentations—answering questions and instilling confidence
• Organizing and storing reports on share drives and SharePoint
• Preparing clear and succinct PowerPoint presentations to be used in internal and external communications
• Authoring and publishing market reports containing actionable recommendations and industry alerts Small project to be identified working with Corning Enterprises and/or Government Affairs.

Qualifications
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or similar with excellent performance
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-starter with initiative to identify needs, recommend solutions and procedures, organize work and follow through to completion
• Flexible, high performance individual contributor and team player
• Strong organization skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical skills, statistical analysis and affinity for process rigor
• Strong computer skills in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to multi-task, take initiative and handle urgent requests
• Manage work details accurately and efficiently

Marketing Technology Analyst Intern, Summer 2020
Job Type: Internship
Location: Atlanta, GA
Responsibilities
• Drive innovative solutions that address marketing needs
• Work on evaluating marketing technology tools similar to Segment.com, Amplitude, UrbanAirship, Braze, Optimizely, Mixpanel, etc, build systems and prototypes that solve specific marketing problems
• Identify pain points, define a clear and compelling solution to address it, and prototype marketing tooling to solve them
• Leverage performance data to understand ROI for tactics and offer technology investment counsel to marketing leaders
• Evaluate existing tools to understand their capabilities and build prototypes that enable new use cases
• Validate hypotheses through customer insights, data analysis, and testing
• Monitor competitive activities, identifying gaps and opportunities

Qualifications
• Part of S.T.E.M program in school such as Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Research, Information Systems, Engineering or Business
• Experience building single page apps written in ReactJS and GatsbyJS
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills. Machine learning and BigQuery experience a plus.
• Experienced in writing server side JavaScript and Go code and familiarity with Cloud Functions and Netlify
• Able to work with REST APIs on popular SAAS platforms including Mailchimp, Google Cloud, Google Maps, Wistia and Looker custom visualizations• Familiar with JIRA, GitHub, Elasticsearch
• A creative problem solver who listens hard, is highly observant, communicative and can problem solve
• Experienced in partnering with cross functional teams (marketing, engineering, design, product management, research, etc)
• Comfortable in public speaking to both internal, external and executive audiences

Digital Marketing Analyst
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Seattle, WA
Responsibilities
• Experience developing and overseeing data, reporting, dashboards and analytics in support of media, websites, etc.
• Ability to assist in the implementation of insights to drive outcomes throughout the region
• Ability to ensure transparent and inclusive communication to all related stakeholders
• Adept at collaborating closely with global, regional and country data teams
• Strength in leveraging global resources in support of Americas and U.S. reporting, dashboards and analytics
• Ability to take ownership of the development of processes related to reporting and analytics across Digital Marketing and Demand Generation
• Ability to develop reporting automation and dashboards for key stakeholders
• Ability to manage a regular cadence of communication for date driven insights across BMC Americas

Qualifications
• Experience working with analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau, R, etc.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong presentation and data visualization capabilities
• Ability to work independently and proactively to deliver project deliverables according to deadlines
• Ability to work with and drive performance from diverse project teams and colleagues around the world
• Ability to occasionally travel to meet with team members as needed
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• A minimum of seven plus years of marketing experience 
• At least three years plus of experience working as a data or business analyst
