Software Engineer Intern
Job Type: Internship
Location: Seattle, WA
Responsibilities
• Building innovative solutions that enables rapid development. You will get to work with a super smart bunch of folks who are doing state of the art development work (native mobile, front-end and back-end, DevOps) in areas of machine learning, data analytics, infrastructure and event correlations across silos to build best-in-class business analytics software. You will be interacting with product management and customers to understand detailed requirements. You will also work with other engineering teams across Splunk to design and build high-performance solutions.
• You will design, develop, code and test software systems, or applications for software improvements and new products
• You’ll actively contribute through participation in agile development of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing, and ongoing support of systems
• Your voice will have an impact through your recommended modifications to processes and procedures, and directly contribute to standard methodologies, architecture, and implementation

Qualifications
• Possess knowledge of software engineering processes, agile framework, tools (e.g.: programming proficiency in a language, preferably Go, C++, Java, Python, etc), methods, test development, algorithms and data structure.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts, large-scale software architecture, networking and distributed systems, and – – UNIX/Linux environments
• You have strong knowledge of programming in one of the following programming languages including but not limited to: Go, C++, Java, Python, Javascript)
• Familiarity with REST API and microservices is a plus
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts is a plus
• Familiarity with tools and technologies like Git, Jenkins, Gitlab, AWS, Docker, GCP is a plus
• You enjoy working well with others in a fast-paced environment
• You enjoy working within an agile environment
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• You bring enthusiasm for solving interesting problems
• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical field, and a strong record of academic achievement.

Responsibilities
• Design, code, test, debug, document and implement database and software solutions
• Utilize Agile Development methodologies, Kanban and the Scrum Framework
• Communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders to provide quality solutions

Responsibilities
• Work under the guidance of tenured engineers to develop enhancements to IdentityNow and IdentityAI products, tools and tests
• Participate within the full development process including design, implementation, test, documentation, review and deployment
• Implement software and procedures that provide value to the SailPoint team and our customers
• Work with software and quality assurance engineers, technical writers and product managers to help deliver elegant software solutions
• Learn about Agile, Angular, AWS, Chef, CSS, Docker, Groovy, HTML, Java, Javascript, Maven, REST, Ruby, Selenium, Scrum, SQL, Tomcat, XML, and others!

Qualifications

Responsibilities
• Prepare accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting.
• Support cost deployment data collection and analysis.Assist with financial reports and journal entries.
• Creating annual/monthly/quarterly schedules.
• Support the tracking of our physical inventory.
• As applicable to assigned business area, perform in-depth analysis of on-going operations. Identify important trends, key risk, and opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Qualifications
• Attention to Detail: Monitoring adherence to standards and actively checking for accuracy of data received or generated before passing it on.

Responsibilities
• Impact challenging projects in our Firefox web browser (accessibility, voice design, developer tools, mobile, and mixed reality), Rust, Pocket, and more
• Be mentored by a fellow teammate and someone who shares the same values

Qualifications

Finance Analyst Intern

Responsibilities
• You will become a valued and integral member within your finance area. You will work on a variety of projects that directly impact the business, such as building models, forecasting, market research, or creating internal tools or databases. Your manager will work with you to make sure your projects are meaningful and relevant based on your interests and development needs. Additionally, you will receive finance-specific training and have access to all company-wide training resources to help you succeed in your role. 

Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business (on track to graduate by June 2021)
• One or more years of classroom and/or finance internship work experience in financial risk analysis with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills preferred 
• Strong competency in MS Office, especially in Excel including pivot tables; certifications or relevant coursework preferred 
• Power BI /Tableau or other data visualization experience preferred  
• SQL/R/Python or other programming/data science experience preferred 
• Proven ability, experience, and overall understanding of fundamental finance and accounting acumen including: data modeling, data analytics, FP&A, forecasting, interpreting financial statements, and reporting
