Marketing Analyst – Consumer Insights |
Job Type: Full-time Location: Secaucus, NJ |
Responsibilities • Analyze marketing consumer data and make recommendations to enhance business processes and profitability • Development of research methodologies to understand how consumers think, act and behave online and applying knowledge of emerging trends and technology to programs • Lead day-to-day management of customer panel communication and develop ideas to maintain engagement and retention • Establish workflow, a request process, identify brand opportunity/departmental needs and drive appropriate share out and use of findings • Align insights with data and customer profiles across the broader marketing team and CRM • Identify growth opportunities through consumer preference clusters • Develop strong partnerships with stakeholders to collaboratively diagnose business challenges and issues, translating them into well-defined questions that can be answered through research and analytics • Draft proprietary surveys that focus on products, categories, brand experience and macro consumer behavioral trends • Partner with the Analytics team to identify survey audiences, customer attributes and key data points to monitor and analyze • Oversee technical survey execution, including programming, QA, copy and creative asset coordination, distribution and monitoring • Assist in basic data analysis and development of actionable insights that focus on business impact • Oversee and partner with third-party partners (e.g. iPerceptions) • Stay abreast of industry trends by constantly monitoring and managing calendar of available industry reports, online publications and webinars (e.g. NPD, Kantar Retail, Mintel, Women’s Wear Daily, NRF) and providing brief summaries of Consumer Trend to Marketing/Merchandising teams as appropriate Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field • 3+ years of experience within social media insights • Understanding of the social listening and analytics landscape and familiarity with methodologies for uncovering marketplace and competitive insights • Experience working in social listening and social analytics tools (e.g. Spredfast, ipsos/Khoros) • Expert in social media metrics across global platforms; both organic and paid • Excellent analytical and communication skills |
